A large number of power cables and control cables may cause temperature rise due to installation location or excessive load, aging of cable connectors, etc., which may easily cause a fire and cause power transmission interruption. Our company has developed a fiber optic temperature monitoring system for power cables, which monitors the temperature of cables in real time and provides early warning and alarm. The system uses an all-fiber sensing passive temperature measurement method, which eliminates the hidden safety hazards of the monitoring system itself and greatly improves the availability of the monitoring system for power temperature monitoring.
The new generation of distributed optical fiber temperature measurement host developed by our company adopts embedded software and hardware system, which has the advantages of stable system, compact structure and low power consumption. It adopts optical fiber sensing technology, is not affected by electromagnetic interference, is intrinsically safe and uses Long life, can operate in various harsh environments. The host is composed of laser, optical switch, WDM module (coupler and spectral separation unit), photoelectric conversion unit, and CPU processing unit. The signal processing process is: laser —> WDM module —> optical switch —> photoelectric conversion unit —> CPU processing unit.
